The Biggest Flops of 2008
It was a near-record year for Hollywood, capped by the output of The Dark Knight. But there were plenty of absolute failures at the box office, as well. Of course, that kind of goes without saying when Eddie Murphy and Nicole Kidman had movies released in the past 12 months.

Superheroes, Animation Rule 2008 Box Office
Three of the top four movies this year were superhero or comic book flicks. Four of the the remaining six movies in the top ten were animated. The other three? 'Twilight' and two of cinema's more venerable heroes, Indiana Jones and James Bond.
