Generate Revenue with Your Submissions

Here at MovieDemocracy.com, we allow our users to write original movie-related articles. If you decide you have something to share and want to write about it on MovieDemocracy.com, you can earn money from your submission.

All you need is an Google AdSense account and the desire to write!

Here's what you need to do...

1. If you don't have a Google AdSense account, create one.

2. In your Google AdSense account, perform the following steps...

• click on the "AdSense Setup" tab
• click on "AdSense for Content"
• the "Ad unit" radio button should be selected. In the dropdown box next to it, select "Text Ads Only". Press the "Continue" button
• on the "AdSense for Content" page, select the following options:
  • Format: 120x600 Skyscrapper (or any 120 pixel width banner)
  • Colors: We recommend the following color scheme
    
    The following colors are also look pretty good: B3CCFF, 003366, 586695. The only thing we require is that the background is white (FFFFFF).
  • Leave default choices for the other options.
• Click the "Continue" button. Keep clicking "Continue" until you reach the final page that give you the code. It should look like this:

Highlight and copy this code into your clipboard.

3. Once you have this code in your clipboard, paste it into a text editor. From there, copy the code inside of the first javascript block. Below is an exampe:

4. Create a user account on MovieDemocracy.com and navigate to your user page. If you're logged in, you can get to your userpage by clicking on your username in the upper right hand corner of the page.

5. In the section "My AdSense Code" of your user page, paste the code in your clipboard and click "Save"

6. Re-load your user page, if you see ads in the dark blue side area on the right, you've succeeded!

7. Write an article for MovieDemocracy.com! When your article is published on MovieDemocracy.com, your ads will run next to your article. Those ads will generate revenue for you and only you - MovieDemocracy.com doesn't manage a thing and we don't take a cut from your ads. That's how you can make money by doing what you love to do anyways... write about the movies!

Claim your Website and Earn $

Do you run a website or write a blog? If your website or blog becomes an approved website on MovieDemocracy.com you have the right to claim your website so you can run ads on this site.

Here's how it works...

First, contact us to see if your site has been approved by MovieDemocracy.com users. Please email us at claimmysite@moviedemocracy.com to begin the process.

If your site is a MovieDemocracy.com approved website, you will be asked to verify the website belongs to you. (If your site isn't approved yet, submit some articles from your site so our user community can approve you).

Once the verification process in complete (and you have your Google AdSense code saved at MovieDemocracy.com, see above) your ads will begin to show up on MovieDemocracy.com pages that link back to your site. Here's an example of an article page that links back to MovieDemocracy.com. When somebody comes along and clicks on your ads, the revenue goes directly to you.
